Hailing from Monroe, Louisiana where pecan pickin is every kids first job, my passion is in the city but my heart is as country as diabetes flaring sweet tea. My passion is journalism. While politics and public policy issues are at the forefront of my career focus, I would like to entwine these interests with journalism.
